Useful for track day data logging
I've been using this device as a data logger for my track days in my '13 BRZ. It works flawlessly for my application. Word of caution, if you decide to use it with Torque app. If you shut down the car without quitting the app, your car may throw a CEL for ECU and go into a limp mode. This is an app issue, but it's something to keep in mind.
Thanks for a great easy to use product!
Great product works exactly as said. Plugs right in and with the software download and Bluetooth works together with no problems.
Best one I have tried.
I don't have a fault code on any of my vehicles right now, but I did plug the unit in and powered it up and connected the bluetooth on my app and it appears that it is going to work fine. For the casual user this unit seems to be about the least expensive way to read and clear fault codes.

It arrived promptly.. Made various attempts to have it connected via Bluetooth.. No luck.. So had it returned for refund.
Arrived early, good job seller. Plugged in, lit up, synched to bt & apps reported perfect. Now I have to decide which app I want to use.
Trouble with connection
It did not fit my car's outlet correctly and gave me no reading, so I am now waiting for an extension wire I have ordered to see if that corrects the problem.

This product IS NOT compatible with tge Torque app as is claimed. It rook around 10 minutes to get it to connect and once it did it will disconnect again almost immediately.
I found the plug in my car quite easily and it plugged in with no problem
My first time owning one of these. I was a bit nervous that I would mess up my electrical system or something when using it. I found the plug in my car quite easily and it plugged in with no problem. I then synched it with my phone...I downloaded "torque" app to evaluate the reading. It reported the error codes and was able to go to my mechanic with an idea of what was wrong with my car, causing the check engine light to be on. This is a great and inexpensive little tool for car owners. Mechanics can take advantage of us sometimes and if I have an idea of what's going on, then I am not as worried about what the mechanic tells me.
Happy so happy
Connected with my android cell phone and my Torque pro(?) Saved me a lot of nuisance and money by not having to deal with an auto shop. Well worth the dollars spent.
Awesome automotive diagnostic tool!!!
This is a great wireless OBD2 diagnostic tool with connectivity to help you get to the bottom of your automotive issue. The app is free and the data is exactly what you need to fix your engine's trouble.
Vary cool gadget, works well with the recommended software on my android tablet gave specifics on the bad O2 sensor ( Down stream ). unable to get it to function with other OBD2 apps from the play store. Have to admit I didn't put a lot of effort in to the non recommended software already had the answers I needed.
Not a reliable enough connection to be useful.
Connects and disconnects constantly. Not a reliable enough connection to be useful.
Couldn't get this to sync with my Bluetooth. Read the instructions, emailed the company and never got a response.
Nice affordable bluetooth OBD2 adapter
Nice affordable bluetooth OBD2 adapter. Works well with Torque and Torque lite apps. Connected easily to Samsung and BLU telephones. It is larger than some of the other adapters so you might consider using a OBD2 extension cable with it if it is in your way while driving.
Junk junk junk.
Unfortunately did not try it out until I needed about 6 months later. Would not show up in Bluetooth and connect with my phone. Complete junk. Don't bother.
Works great with my 2014 RAM. Found the code right away, and was able to clear it easily. Bluetooth connects quickly and easily to the Torque Free app on the android. Definitely recommend this for those that either just want to clear codes or to troubleshoot their own issues.
Could not make this work with phone or computer.
I finally got a chance to try and use this on my 2011 Grand Cherokee. It will not connect to my Lumia 950 Windows Phone 10, or to my brand new Windows 10 Pro Lenovo Miix 510 Surface clone. I work in IT, so it's not like I'm lost on technology. The LED lights will not stay illuminated when plugged into my OBDII port. However, my old OBDII scanner from Harbor Freight works just fine in my Jeep every single time. I was hoping to be able to use this with the various OBDII apps available for Windows Phone, but I can't even get it to pair up. Maybe I just got a bad one, but at this point, it's just a pricey hunk of plastic that hasn't worked at all.
The Kobra OBDII OBD2 Bluetooth device is a good product choice
The Kobra OBDII OBD2 Bluetooth device is a good product choice. The Kobra works great. The lights are very easy to see and the instructions are very direct. It is small and easy to carry. It takes up to no room at all in a small purse or bag. You can even carry this product around in your pocket if you wanted to. I would recommend this product to all of my friends and family. It is an easy way to see what is wrong with your vehicle if you do not know.
... and reset the code on a Buick did a good job reading and reset the code
Order this to read and reset the code on a Buick did a good job reading and reset the code. sometimes it's a little hard to connect but when it connect it works good, little harder on Jeep to get working but it's great for the money I highly recommend it would buy again. Good app that works with the OBD.
Save 100's !!!
I bought this as my Oldsmobile was throwing error codes like wild pitches. Plugged in and paired with the OBDCheck app this thing works great. Saved me 100s by helping me track down a loose 02 sensor. Save yourself 100's and get this. I help out all my family with their cars now. Between this and the software its a great setup. Be good to keep in the car at all times like I do. 10/10 will buy again and again.
Great for my old car
My car just hit 222,222 miles! It's still in pretty good shape but when the check engine light goes on I want to know what I'm getting into (without having to blindly trust a mechanic). I think this is going to be perfect and help me know when it's time to throw in the towel vs fix it 😊. Hopefully I won't need it anytime soon!
it seems to good to be true
My Toyota Sequoia engine light was on. I didn't want to spend time and money paying on diagnosis. A friend told me about this device. First, I was skeptical. it seems to good to be true. I was amazed an impresed by this little device's efficacy. The OBD Bluetooth Auto Diagnostic Scanning Tool worked with ZTE max cellphone and it was able to diagnose my car .. right on the money. Highly recommended.
Nice gadget to have
This this does exactly what it should. I have used it on 3 different vehicles with no issues.

This KOBRA OBDII OBD2 Bluetooth Auto Diagnostic Scanner Tool is great! I didn't know what was wrong with my car. I got a estimate and it was totally wrong from what this says and what the diagnostic tool said made more sense and way cheaper to fix than what I was told!
I know it can probably do more things but it's a bit difficult to understand how to use it. The only two things I use it for is to see if there are any codes and to make sure all is green to pass smog.
Linked right up with Bluetooth. Great product.
Worked great! Linked right up, delivered fast. The last one I had wouldn't work with my S5, this one works with all my phones. Cleared the codes, looked up the codes, fixed the problems, passed emissions.
Works, but no Instructions.
Works OK. Would have been nice to have some instructions - at least the Blue Tooth pairing code. Website was of no use.

Well done. I need more of these. Only 2 so far, but at least 4 more coming.
Did not work
It did not work. I tried the device on 3 different vehicles and used 3 different smart phones. At no time was there a Bluetooth signal from the device to a cell phone.
Does Not Read Anything
Plugged in, paired with phone, went into Torque Lite settings and paired the OBDII device with the app. So far, so good. But . . . no readings. Dials say "no data." On some attempt to get results the app threw up a message that it was unable to receive a response from the 327 ECU. I've done the obvious (restarts and such) and googled for answers. So far, no luck. It's a 1999 Subaru and is supposed to be compliant.

My husband loves this! Does exactly what he needs and has been very helpful in diagnosing problems in multiple vehicles.
Just a real bargain
Saw a friend use one of these helping check out my truck and car. Had to have one. Had an engine light go on again in my truck and this little device gave me the code and now i know what i need to do to fix my truck. Bought one for one of my sons as christmas gift. If your vehicle uses idiot lights this little device lets you put gauges on them and see how your engine is performing.
Easy install and prompt delivery
Very cool, linked right up with the torque app, learning how to best use it
This thing worked great.
I used this with Car Scanner Pro ovZ which cost $1.99. For under 15 bucks I got great scan tool. I doubt I'll ever need the dedicated scan tool again unless checking ABS. Will leave one of these in the glove box of all the cars.

Can't in s reasonable amount of time and worked right out of the box. Very useful and will save you a bunch from going to the shop Everytime you very the light.
If you have a car, you need to have this.
I bought this to run battery checks on Prii when I was in the market for one. This saved me from buying a Prius with a bad battery. I looked at many Prii and many of them had problematic battery readouts. So, this thing saved me a bundle just in that regard. I've since used it on my truck, on my friends' vehicles, and on the Prius I bought based on what this little device was able to tell me. Paired with the OBDCheck app this thing is one of the coolest and most useful devices I own.
I have two of these one was more $$ and then I bought this one which looks the same as my other one and works just as good.
